#1The story takes place in Venice, Italy.It's during a February winter morning. I have never been in an ancient city , but I have seen it on TV. And the winter in the story is like the ones I see every year here in Wisconsin, so much snow all around and the kids enjoying and playing outdoors.

#1My favorite character is Jack because he is smart and likes adventures, he likes traveling a lot, and he wears glasses which I find it interesting and fun.He is the one who always has the better ideas with a great sense of humour.He has fantastic ideas.
My least favorite characters are the guards who take care of the castle.They are mean ,grouchy,grumpy.They don't treat well the kids.I don't think they are good friends to anybody.
#2 My least favorite charcter is the guard because he had a rifle and he ponted in at Jack and Annie and my favorite charcter is Annie because she is full of adverture because she alwas is nice to people and she loves to time trave.

#1The main event is that Jack and Annie asked an old man with his chubby dog about the house of a painter named Tiepolo.And this old man said that Tiepolo lives next to him, that he is his neighbor,but he was away and he wasn't coming back soon.

#1This book reminds me of the times I used to travel by train with my mom and dad, the people we met and the adventures we had , like the time the train wasn't working well and we were stucked in the middle of the road.Also it reminds me of a film I saw that was in Italy and I saw Venice and its channels, the streets etc

#1Henry:The climax of the story is about how Jack and Annie have the rigth theme to paint about, they are going to paint about everything they saw in their dream such as gondolas, people wearing costumes, masks,wigs, also about the ruler's palace, the watchtower, the flying lion,Neptune, the God of the sea,people they have met. They are also going to include themselves in the painting wearing clown suits and red slippers, smiling and having great fun, all that was going to be done on Lorenzo's canvas
